Summary: The Global Marketing Manager, Pharmaceuticals, will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for new pharmaceutical products during the pre-launch phase. The candidate will support in creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for differentiated product portfolio in the Pharmaceutical business segment. The position will collaborate with R&D, Medical and Regional Marketing teams to ensure market needs are incorporated into product design, by analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform product positioning and launch strategies, ultimately driving future commercial success of the drug in global markets. 

Responsibilities:

Market research and analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify unmet medical needs, target patient populations, and understand competitive landscape to inform product development. Product positioning and messaging: Develop compelling value propositions and messaging for new products, aligning with clinical data and market insights. Target Product Profile (TPP) development: Collaborate with R&D to define the TPP, outlining key product features, efficacy, and safety parameters based on market requirements. Customer insights gathering: Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) research to understand physician and patient needs, preferences, and potential barriers to adoption. Strategic planning: Support the development of global upstream marketing plans, including market segmentation, target audience identification, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with R&D, clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless transition from development to launch. Evidence generation strategy: Identify and develop evidence generation plans to support product claims and market access strategies. Market shaping activities: Participate in market shaping initiatives, including thought leadership development and publications to establish product positioning early on. Competitive analysis: Monitor competitor activity and develop strategies to differentiate the product in the market. Launch readiness: Prepare launch materials, training programs, and support commercial teams for successful product launch. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree in life sciences, healthcare, business administration, or equivalent experience preferred3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on brand marketing and product launches.Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and development process Experience in upstream marketing, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Global perspective and experience working across different markets and cultures preferredAbility to think strategically and translate market insights into actionable marketing plans
