Genus PIC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a strategic Global Marketing Director to lead the evolution of the marketing function. This position is a high-impact business leadership position designed to bridge the gap between our breakthrough genetic innovations and our commercial success in diverse global markets. As the Global Marketing Director, you will implement a Global operating model and framework, providing the centralized strategy and infrastructure that empowers our regional teams to execute quickly and win locally. The successful candidate will inspire with values driven leadership, radiate expertise, take ownership, collaborate broadly, and be results driven. You will build the intelligence and strategic framework that will drive our global growth for the next decade.

You Will Build a deep understanding of the porcine industry, global business intelligence and market insights. Create and own the engine for global market intelligence, capture and consolidate regional data to include producer sentiment, competitor movements, emerging markets, and "wins/losses” to establish a unified view of the global landscape.Develop a data-driven strategy, translate raw commercial data into actionable insights that inform executive decision-making, R&D priorities, and supply chain adjustments.Define strategy and training for our global technology platforms (CRM, DAL). Ensure we have the visibility needed to measure performance, while regional teams manage the daily execution and data entry.Define and communicate the corporate "Guardrails" (Visual Identity, Tone of Voice, Core Claims) that must be respected globally, while granting regions autonomy to adapt "Go-to-Market" tactics for their local cultures.Implement a scalable production model where Global provides 60% of core assets ("Hero" content) to maximize efficiency, allowing regions to adapt (30%) or innovate (10%) based on local needs.Enable Quarterly Brand Audits to review performance and share best practices, ensuring alignment without creating bottlenecks. Shift the culture from permission gating to strategic coaching.Lead the global go-to-market strategy for our flagship innovations, specifically EverThrive® PRP. Establish and ensure that the value proposition for this game-changing product is consistent, compelling, and technically accurate across every market.Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to translate complex genetic and health data into clear, commercial arguments that resonate with producers and veterinarians.Chair the Marketing Council: Lead the monthly Marketing Council, acting as the primary connector between Regional Marketing Leads and Joint Venture partners. This is a forum for collaboration and peer-to-peer learning, not just reporting.Engage and collaborate with JV partners (particularly in high-growth markets like Brazil and China) as fostering an "Opt-In" culture where global initiatives are adopted because they add value, not because they are mandated.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and best solutions progress forward. Uphold the Genus core values, mission, and vision.Ensure that world-class environmental health and safety work processes and results are in place and consistently utilized.Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and include occasional domestic and international travel.

 

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or another applicable educational program.Minimum 10 years of marketing experience at a senior level with a specific focus on Animal Agriculture, Swine Genetics, Animal Health, or Ag-Biotech.Demonstrated ability to navigate scientific data (genomics, disease resistance, biosecurity) and translate into technical specs into commercial value.Working knowledge and understanding of the complex, relationship-driven sales cycles of agricultural production.History of and ability to influence diverse stakeholders to align on a shared vision.Experience working in a matrixed international organization is essential. Demonstrated experience separating "Upstream Marketing" (Strategy, Positioning, Intelligence) from "Downstream Execution" (Sales Support), and you know how to build the former to support the latter.
