EQUITY RESEARCH

Equity Research focuses on company-specific research and analysis. Industry and sector teams analyze companies in the stock markets of the region to develop investment ideas. These sector teams also work with macro, quantitative and derivatives research teams to identify investment ideas.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the GIR Associate is to support global equity research teams by compiling, analyzing and summarizing data and other information. The role will focus not only on quantitative tasks such as developing financial and industry models, but also on contributions to the production of fundamental equity research reports. 

Working closely with the Senior Analysts and other members of the Large banks, Brokers & Crypto team, the responsibilities of the Associate are to:

Build strong industry knowledge of the US Large Cap and Investment Banks, Retail Brokerages & Crypto Company sectors, as well as the deep understanding of the constituent companiesDevelop, maintain and update detailed financial models and perform valuation analysisInterpret a broad range of data and perform analysis on market, economic and industry trendsContribute to the generation and execution of investment ideas through verbal and written communicationsWrite reports on companies under coverage including quarterly earnings updates, company-specific reports and industry/macro trendsCommunicate with and respond to ad hoc requests from the equities sales force and traders, clients and company management teams

QUALIFICATIONS
