The Position

The Record to Report Department, often abbreviated as R2R department provides financial services for more than 130 affiliates in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed and Leased Asset Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future.

The Opportunity:

As a Global Financial Reporting Specialist, you bring strong expertise in Month-End Closing (MEC), consolidation, reporting, data reconciliation, variance analysis, financial planning, and management reporting across functional, divisional, and global levels. As a Specialist in this field, you will play a key part in mentoring team members to build collective expertise while driving initiatives in simplification, automation, and standardization. Furthermore, you will influence future organizational directions by actively contributing to scoping and assessment workshops within the transition framework.

Serving as a Data Steward for various tools, implementing policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, and end-to-end operational data access

Performing data validation checks and conducting extensive variance analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability

Acting as the business owner for key reporting applications in the P74 system (e.g., COPA, Logistics, GtN, and FinCo, and financial planning tool) and partnering with HQ Finance teams to provide insights and support

Representing the reporting portfolio and applications, sharing updates and insights in cross-functional stakeholder meetings (e.g., FGAR experts meetings, Aspire SME meetings, and co-creation sprints)

Providing first-level support for planning tool within Diagnostic division, resolving user issues and queries, and preparing training materials to enhance user proficiency

Coordinating Aspire transitions for related applications, involving central finance and IT teams, and driving the redesign of the reporting environment with innovative improvement ideas

Testing Aspire mapping to P74, collaborating with affiliates post-go-live, and providing feedback on reporting performance

Who you are:

You have a University degree in finance or a related field

Possessing 6+ years of working experience in global/divisional closing, consolidation and reporting and/or controlling/planning

Proficient in E2E process implementation/governance for efficiency and continuous improvement

Skilled in organizing diverse data into actionable insights

Demonstrating familiarity with SAP ERP Systems and financial reporting tools

Capable of independent work, collaboration across organizations, and possessing strong prioritization and interpersonal skills

Fluent in English with good communication skills
