Job Description
The Latin America Subsidiary Banking team manages J.P. Morgan’s relationships with Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients across cash management, trade, fx & rates, commodities, and financing solutions. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions. As a Corporate Banking Executive Director you will cover and develop relationships with multinational clients in Brazil. The position will be based in Sao Paulo.
Job Responsibilities
Build and expand Treasurer / CFO relationships with multinational clients in Brazil, focusing on the origination of corporate banking opportunities (e.g. cash management, trade, fx & rates, commodities, financing) Develop active dialogue at headquarter and local levels, educating clients on J.P. Morgan's corporate banking capabilities in Brazil Partner with headquarter bankers and product specialists to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution Create forward-looking business plans for existing and prospective clients Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with J.P. Morgan's array of corporate banking products Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to drive product development ideas Role requires travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and headquarter partners Develop and strengthen a team by encouraging teamwork, setting a positive example, and supporting the professional growth of team members
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
+ 15 years of corporate banking or relevant product coverage experience Experience with Corporate Banking products and services, including cash management, trade, FX & rates, commodities, financing solutions, and structured products such as DCM, derivatives, and securitization Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and team development skills Experience in managing banking relationships with multinational clients from Asia or/and Europe (Tech and NBFI) Strong communication skills (both oral and written) as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to lead and work in a cross-cultural team environment
