Global Asset Data Manager Job ID 233212 Posted 27-Aug-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Data & Analytics Location(s) Prague - Praha, Hlavni mesto - Czechia **JOB** **SUMMARY** We are seeking a data-driven and operationally skilled Global Asset Data Manager to lead the standardization, collection, and lifecycle utilization of physical asset data across the JCI portfolio managed by CBRE. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decisions that reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), support decarbonization goals, and improve asset reliability. The role will leverage CBRE’s proprietary mobile app and Asset Insight platform to ensure high-quality, validated data is captured and maintained. Based in Europe, this position requires a hands-on professional who can travel extensively during the initial 6-12 months to collect data at major sites while simultaneously building capabilities within our global FM teams to manage data collection at smaller locations. **ESSENTIAL** **DUTIES** **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Data Collection & Quality Management** · Lead comprehensive asset data collection initiatives across global sites, with primary focus on EMEA region · Conduct on-site data gathering exercises at largest facilities, personally validating and collecting asset information · Develop and implement standardized data collection processes and methodologies · Achieve target data quality levels: 80%+ across all regions · Ensure data accuracy and consistency within Maximo FMP system **Stakeholder Engagement & Training** · Collaborate with FM teams across North and South America, Europe, and Asia to drive data improvement initiatives · Educate and guide local site teams and third-party vendors on proper data collection and maintenance procedures · Partner with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones to drive data quality initiatives · Build strong working relationships with on-site teams and vendor partners **Analysis & Strategic Planning** · Analyze asset data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities · Develop robust preventive maintenance plans based on data insights · Create comprehensive asset replacement strategies using data-driven approaches · Generate actionable insights from asset utilization patterns and big data analytics · Support compliance requirements through accurate asset documentation and reporting **Process Improvement & Innovation** · Design and implement scalable processes for ongoing data maintenance and quality assurance · Develop innovative solutions for data collection challenges across diverse global sites · Create standardized templates, procedures, and best practices for asset data management · Drive continuous improvement in data management processes and systems **QUALIFICATIONS** **Technical Skills** · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis functions) · Extensive experience with Maximo FMP system or similar CMMS platforms · Strong analytical skills with ability to identify data patterns and trends · Experience with data quality assessment and improvement methodologies **Professional Experience** · Minimum 5+ years experience in facilities management or asset management · Proven track record in data collection, analysis, and quality improvement projects · Experience working with global teams and managing remote stakeholders · Background in physical asset management (HVAC, electrical systems, fire safety, security, BMS, AV equipment, furniture, etc.) **Personal Attributes** · Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently · Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills · Excellent communication skills across diverse cultural contexts · Comfortable with extensive travel (particularly within Europe during first 6-12 months) · Adaptable and innovative problem-solver · Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment **Preferred Qualifications** · Facilities management certifications (IFMA, RICS, or similar) · Experience with asset management software beyond Maximo · Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and implementation · Background in compliance and audit processes · Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) · Project management experience or certification **Travel Requirements** · Extensive travel required during first 6-12 months (primarily within Europe) · Travel frequency will reduce significantly after initial data collection phase **Success Metrics** · Successful implementation of preventive maintenance plans based on improved data · Measurable improvement in compliance audit results · Cost optimization achievements through better asset management · Successful training and capability building within global FM teams · Deploy CBRE’s mobile asset data collection app with barcode scanning and OCR to streamline and validate data capture. · Ensure alignment with CBRE’s Uniformat II Level 5 coding and Global Job Plans for consistency across the portfolio. · Collaborate with Capital Program Management teams to ensure asset data supports CapEx planning and sustainability initiatives. · Use Asset Insight to track asset conditions, criticality, and replacement needs, enabling proactive lifecycle decisions. · Implement post-site visit QA checks and ensure data meets CBRE’s 160+ business rules before CMMS upload. · Maintain data integrity through structured updates during preventive maintenance and asset replacements. · Achieve 80%+ validated asset data coverage using CBRE’s mobile app and QA workflows all regions within 12 months · Deliver measurable improvements in capital planning accuracy and sustainability reporting.
