Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team based in Harrisburg. Our company specializes in installing custom windows, and our projects are typically located within a 1.5-hour radius from Harrisburg. The team meets at the shop before heading to job sites which include schools, store fronts, office buildings, industrial facilities, and apartment buildings. This role may occasionally require overnight stays with a 4-day work week and paid per diem.

ResponsibilitiesInstall custom windows in various types of buildings such as schools, office buildings, and apartment complexes.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and high-quality installations.Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.Interpret and work from blueprints for precise execution.Perform rough carpentry tasks and glazing as needed.Maintain safety standards and adhere to company protocols during installations.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in rough carpentry and glazing.Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry or glazing.Framing experience with wood or metal.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in residential or commercial carpentry.Skill in finishing work.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our family-owned company currently has 12 field employees and is aiming to double its workforce over the next 2-3 years. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Join a team-oriented environment where growth and teamwork are encouraged.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
