Cutting and shaping glass: Glaziers use various tools to cut and grind glass to the required dimensions.

Installing glass: They install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.

Removing old or broken glass: Glaziers remove damaged glass and old putty from frames before installing new glass.

Building frameworks: They assemble and install metal or wood components that hold the glass.

Consulting with customers: Glaziers often discuss project requirements and specifications with clients.

Reading blueprints: They study blueprints and building plans to understand the specifications of each project.

Ensuring safety: Glaziers comply with health and safety regulations and building codes to prevent injuries and ensure the integrity of

structures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
