Own inventory-related general ledger accounts, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, reserves, and cost of goods sold

Prepare and review monthly inventory journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

Partner with operations, supply chain, and cost accounting teams to investigate inventory variances and resolve discrepancies

Support inventory costing processes, including standard cost updates, overhead absorption, and cycle count adjustments

Ensure inventory accounting complies with GAAP and internal controls, including documentation and audit support

Analyze inventory trends and metrics (turns, obsolescence, shrinkage) and provide insights to management

Assist with month-end close, physical inventory counts, and continuous improvement of inventory accounting processes
