As a CBRE GL Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger, ensuring the financial integrity of our operations.
This position falls within the Controlling job function, which is responsible for the management of the organization's financial controls and the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Within CBRE IA&R, you will be challenged to develop yourself, to extend your knowledge and skills and to further improve and professionalize various processes within the company.
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Financial Inquiry & Support:** Address inquiries regarding accounting issues and financial reports.
+ **Financial Statement Preparation:** Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other essential accounting statements and financial reports.
+ **Journal Entry Accuracy:** Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications, ensuring data integrity.
+ **Variance Analysis & Recommendations:** Evaluate accounting variances, reports, and records, providing insightful recommendations related to reserves, assets, and expenditures.
+ **Accounts Receivable Management:** Maintain, record, and reconcile billings and accounts receivables for small to medium-sized clients, markets, or accounts.
+ **Month-End Closing:** Create month-end accounting entries, reconcile discrepancies, and post to the general ledger.
+ **Balance Sheet Reconciliation:** Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, verifying the accurate transfer of data from subsystems.
+ **Financial Compliance:** Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting standards.
**What You'll Bring:**
+ A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will also be considered.
+ The ability to apply existing procedures to effectively resolve standard operational challenges.
+ Experience in analysing information and applying standard practices to make informed judgments.
+ Fluency in both Polish and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
