Job Summary: The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.

Responsibilities

Manage complex end to end accounting:General ledger account analysisBalance Sheet account reconciliationsResponsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for informationCoordination of month-end closingsEnsure compliance with SOX controlsWork with the team and with site controllers to ensure accurate and controlled financial statementsSupport and train one junior colleagueSupport internal and external auditsEnsure effective internal controls for the assigned accounting areasBe a key team member driving continuous improvementLead and participate in assigned projectsReporting to site leadership to ensure a healthy service level

Qualifications

3+ years’ relevant experience is requiredBachelor's Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)US GAAP or IFRS knowledgeStrong general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishConfident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Proficient in data entry and managementAbility to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholdersStrong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues through root cause analysisAbility to cope with and drive process changesContinuous improvement mindsetAbility to stay professional in challenging situationsAbility to provide guidance in prioritization to team members Strong sense of responsibility
