En ce qui a trait aux placements de détail, GPTD est la troisième société de gestion de fonds communs de placement en importance au Canada. Elle gère des actifs pour le compte de plus de 1,9 million d’investisseurs et propose l’une des familles de fonds les plus diversifiées au pays. L’équipe Distribution aux conseillers de GPTD offre une gamme de fonds communs de placement et de portefeuilles gérés grâce à une équipe nationale de ventes et de service comptant plus de 100 personnes. L’équipe des ventes est responsable de vendre des Fonds Mutuels TD par l’entremise de conseillers externes (courtiers, conseillers et planificateurs financiers tiers) qui contribuent aux actifs de Fonds Mutuels TD à hauteur de plus de 100 milliards de dollars. GPTD gère collectivement des actifs de plus de 260 milliards de dollars, ce qui en fait l’un des plus importants gestionnaires d’actifs au Canada.

Description du poste
Relevant du directeur des ventes internes, le ou la stagiaire, servira de point de contact pour l’équipe des ventes de GPTD en vue de fournir du soutien pour la gamme complète de produits et services offerts par l’entremise du canal de vente des Services aux courtiers. La clientèle du canal de vente des Services aux courtiers comprend notamment les négociateurs, les gestionnaires de portefeuille, les conseillers en placement et les courtiers.
Responsabilités
Offrir du soutien administratif et aux ventes à deux équipes des ventes
Prendre en charge l’ensemble des aspects du calendrier pour le territoire, en assurant une coordination et une prise de rendez-vous proactives de manière à utiliser efficacement et stratégiquement le temps des fournisseurs de services bancaires de gros.
Toutes les tâches au niveau du territoire (activités, ventes, etc.) sont exécutées de façon efficace et en temps opportun.
Le nouveau matériel et les nouveaux rapports de marketing sont présentés à l’équipe des ventes aux fins d’information et de discussion, pour produire des résultats.
Tenir à jour les dossiers des clients dans le répertoire de données
Imprimer, rassembler et expédier les commandes de matériel, les trousses de présentation, les envois territoriaux, les courriels, etc.
Produire les rapports selon le cycle
Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale pour le territoire en ce qui concerne le programme coopératif, le marketing, la base de données sur les dépenses, etc.
Fournir un leadership qui est en harmonie avec la stratégie d’ensemble du canal au sein de toutes les équipes – territoriale, régionale et nationale
Acquérir, maintenir à jour et appliquer des connaissances approfondies sur les solutions et l’offre de produits au sein de Gestion de patrimoine TD et sur les tendances du secteur.
Exigences du poste
Étudiant ou étudiante d’un programme de premier cycle en finances, en comptabilité, en commerce ou en administration des affaires qui a l’intention de retourner aux études à la fin de son stage. (Occasion d’être promu[e] au poste d’associé[e], Développement des affaires après ses études)
Désir d’occuper un poste en ventes

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager – Inside Sales, the Business Development Intern will serve as a point of contact for the TDAM sales force to provide support for the full range of products and services available through the Broker/Dealer sales channel. The Broker/Dealer sales channel’s clients include Dealers, Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors and Brokers.
Accountabilities:
Provide sales and administrative support to sales teams
Full ownership of all aspects of territory calendar through proactive coordination and booking of meetings to ensure strategic and effective use of wholesalers’ time
All territory responsibilities (activity, sales, etc.) are executed against in a timely and effective manner
New marketing material and reports are presented for sales team awareness and discussion to drive results
Update and maintain client files in contact directory database
Printing, collating and shipping of literature material orders, presentation kits, territory mailings, email blasts, etc.
Produce reports according to cycle
Act as primary contact for territory around co-op/marketing, expense database, etc.
Deliver leadership that is aligned to overall channel strategy within all teams – territory, regional and national
Develop, maintain and apply an in-depth knowledge of product solutions and offerings within TD Wealth Management as well as industry trends
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, or Business/Commerce with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term. (Upon graduation, opportunity to be promoted to the position of Business Development Associate)
A desire to be in a sales role
Strong interest in capital markets and asset management
Excellent communication skills
Extremely motivated individual with a can-do attitude
