Position Purpose
AutoZone's Divisional Loss Prevention Manager manages (through the RLPMs of the Division) the overall Loss Prevention (LP) and Safety Programs for all the stores in the Division. This includes the hiring, training, and evaluation of RLPMs, the development and implementation of Department, Divisional, and Regional plans and budgets, the overall supervision of all aspects of the implementation of these plans and budgets, and the supervision of all investigations conducted within the Division.
Primary Accountabilities
+ Assist RLPMs in developing their market analysis plans, develop a Divisional market analysis plan (via Region visits, investigations, input from Regional and Divisional team members), implement and evaluate LP plans.
+ Training of RLPMs in all aspects of their position and responsibility.
+ Evaluation of performance of RLPMs during periodic visits, quarterly reviews, and yearly performance appraisal.
+ Supervise RLPMs' investigations and related matters (communication with Azer Relations & police agencies).
+ Review all Loss Prevention policies and tasks and look for innovative ways to design new programs and the redesign of existing programs, policies, tasks and procedures.
+ Attend and participate in strategic planning meetings (Company, LP Department, Divisional, and Regional).
+ Review and approval of all investigative reports, expense reports, prosecutions, participate as a divisional team member in the overall management of the Division.
Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Criminal Justice, Asset Protection, or related field
Years of Experience: More than seven years.
Type of Experience: Multi-store loss prevention experience.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Certification with Wicklander-Zulawski will be preferred
Other/Preferred: Strong training, organizational, management, leadership, investigative and communication skills; self-starter who works best with little supervision, puts customers first, is team player, communicates effectively, results the right way, development focused, and embraces change.
