Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects, particularly those involving the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering geotechnical reports and assisting in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Responsibilities + Deliver comprehensive geotechnical reports for WisDOT projects. + Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. + Understand and apply the guidelines from WisDOT's Facilities Development Manual, AASHTO Geometric Design Manual, AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, and FHWA's Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). + Contribute to roadway design using Civil 3D software. Essential Skills + Proficiency in geotechnical engineering. + Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin. + Experience in geotechnical analysis. + Skillful in using Civil 3D. + At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical reporting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. Work Environment The position is a full remote position with a Monday - Friday schedule.
