GEO ADMINISTRATOR (GEO):

 

Bowhead seeks a Geo Administrator to support the Pacific Installation Geospatial Engineering Office located at Yokota AB, Japan. The purpose of this contract is to provide geospatial solutions to attain, maintain, and sustain the PACAF and AFIMSC/Det 2 GEO vision of one geospatial information structure that electronically depicts built and natural infrastructure on each Air Force installation.

Responsibilities Perform GIS data development in an enterprise environmentIntegrate enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processesAdministrate and configure web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSSGather requirements for applications from users of geospatial information Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field Three (3+) years of experience with the use and administration of Esri’s ArcGIS Desktop and Server solutionsExperience providing formal and informal trainingCompTIA’s Security+ certification

Preferred Qualifications:


• M.S. degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline
• Experience with and knowledge of advanced relational database concepts
• Experience providing formal and informal technical training
• Experience with the DAF GEO Program
• Experience with AutoCAD Map 3D
• Experience with Trimble's resource/mapping and survey grade GPS solutions
• Knowledge of SDSFIE
• Programming and scripting experience

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
