**Job Title:** Warehouse Stock Clerk **Location:** Castleton, NY **Job Type:** Full-Time **Shift:1st** **Pay:** $16/hour **Job Summary:** We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Stock Clerk** to join our team at our Castleton, NY facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom or warehouse. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent organization and communication skills. **Responsibilities:** + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. + Unload materials and store items in an organized and accessible manner. + Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS). + Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. + Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts. + Assist with shipping and receiving processes. + Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse. + Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary). + Communicate effectively with warehouse team and supervisors. + Identify and report any stock discrepancies or issues. **Qualifications:** + Prior warehouse or stock clerk experience preferred but not required. + Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs). + Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software a plus. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
