We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our production team as General Utility Workers. This entry‑level role plays a key part in maintaining safe, efficient, and sanitary operations within our meat-processing facility. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain clean, sanitary production areas and report any issues promptly.Remove product and packaging materials from the floor and dispose of inedible product correctly.Sort and remove trash and recycling from production areas.Prepare and stage empty containers and supplies for the next shift.Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and sanitation.Handle rework materials safely, ensuring proper identification to prevent cross‑contamination.Provide break coverage for co‑workers, which may include learning additional tasks.Complete assigned documentation accurately and on time.Help train new employees as directed.Consult with supervisors before end-of-shift to ensure all tasks are completed.Inspect cases for accurate labels and legible code dates.Perform basic machine adjustments (e.g., tape, ink, film, cardboard, code dates).Operate manual hand jacks when needed.Report equipment malfunctions quickly.Stage ingredients (up to 50 lbs) to keep product flow steady.Arrange, hang, transport, stack, and visually inspect products according to specifications.Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistent workflow.Essential SkillsStrong dependability and attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work with minimal supervisionClear verbal and written communicationWillingness to work weekends and overtimeAbility to work safely in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in production, general labor, or food manufacturingExperience with companies such as Kraft, Tyson, Hill & Valley, or similar environmentsWhy Join Us?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
