Job Title: General Utility Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Utility Worker for our West Facility located in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This role involves rotating through four key areas: sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making.
Responsibilities
Sanitation/Pack-Off: Dispose of extra materials, break down and dispose of incoming packages and labels, separate trash into categories, and spray machines and containers with disinfectant.Packer: Assist with machine start-ups and disassembly for sanitation, place bags of finished goods into boxes, visually inspect finished goods for defects, and complete necessary paperwork.Palletizer: Visually inspect cases for proper sealing and labeling, operate a pallet jack to move finished pallets, assemble and disassemble machinery for sanitation, document findings, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50lbs.Box Maker: Maintain boxes and labels for production lines, ensure labeling matches specifications, document movement of finished and raw materials, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50lbs.Essential Skills
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs continuously throughout a 10-hour shiftProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishAt least 1 year of work historyAdditional Skills & Qualifications

After 60 days, employees become part of the union and eligible for benefits. At 6 months, there's an opportunity to level up to an operator with a $1 raise, and after a year, potential to advance to level 2 or 3. Enjoy a 2.5% annual salary increase each January 1st. Competitive pay with overtime opportunities for hours exceeding 8 per shift. Pay starting at $16/hr.
Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 5:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with most Saturdays included. Expect to work 50+ hours a week, capped at 60 hours. Work in a GMP Food Production Environment, wearing an overcoat, gloves, hardhat, ear plugs, safety glasses, and knee-high non-slip rubber boots. The production floor is refrigerated, maintaining temperatures between 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
