Job Description

Pay Range: $292,000 - $365,000/year

Salary offers are primarily based on service level but also include consideration for relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

General Surgical Pathologist - Denver, CO

Responsibilities:

We serve the four Denver metro area Intermountain Health hospitals (St Joseph’s, Lutheran Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Platte Valley Medical Center) as well as Steam Boat Springs. Experience is a plus, but current fellows are encouraged to apply.  The following areas of subspecialty training would complement our existing group: Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, or Dermatopathology.

The ideal candidate would welcome the challenges of a hospital-based practice and have great communication skills.  Everyone in the group takes on leadership roles at the hospital sites appropriate to their skill set and knowledge base (administrative, oversite of laboratory, presentation at multidisciplinary boards) and splits call in an equitable fashion.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected.

Qualifications:

MD/DO degree plus accredited pathology residency

Board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology

GI fellowship training preferred, but not required

Experience is encouraged, but not required

Valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in CO or eligible to obtain licensure
