Job Description
The role involves operating and managing packaging machinery in a clean, GMP-compliant facility. Candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting machines that fill, cut, seal, and package various products, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and manage packaging machinery.Set up machinery, including auto packager, cutter, and filler.Adjust hoses and blades.Add new film and roles to machinery.Set orders and runs into the computer.Manage and unclog jams in the machinery.Check products for defects.Connect hoses to tankers and fillers.Climb ladders to access machinery, ensuring comfort with heights.Essential Skills1 year of GMP experience.1 year of packaging experience.1 year of manufacturing experience.Ability to lift 40 lbs individually.Comfortable climbing ladders and working on mezzanine above machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual skills.Experience with blending and batch mixing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is very clean and temperature-controlled, featuring packaging machinery, kettles, and tanks for mixing. The environment is comfortable, though it may be warmer near machinery and kettles. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, non-slip boots, and work pants, adhering to GMP standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
