**Job Title: General Production Worker - 1st - Starting at $19/hr** **Responsibilities** + Follow all food-related GMP and SOP guidelines diligently. + Pack items on the lines for shipment, ensuring they are not damaged or broken. + Use ingredients correctly for mixing, including coulter and apg processes. + Check weights and record all lot and bag numbers accurately. + Maintain sanitation practices for equipment due to food packaging requirements. + Ensure the work area is clean and organized. + Lift and shift weights of 50-55 lbs consistently. + Adapt to confined spaces and heights, such as spiral staircases and catwalks above machines. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50-55 lbs consistently. + Willingness to train on forklift usage in the future. + Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing. + Experience with batch mixing and recipe reading. + Mechanical inclination for basic maintenance tasks. + GMP knowledge in a food environment. + Legible reading and writing skills. + Proficient math skills using decimals and fractions. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy bi-weekly pay, benefits through United Healthcare after 30 days, and a 401k match up to 6%. The position involves 12-hour shifts from Monday to Wednesday, with potential overtime on Thursdays. Steel-toed boots are required from day one, and uniforms must be worn at all times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Defiance, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.75/hr.
