Job Description
Execute production schedules at rated throughput in the packing area to meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.
ResponsibilitiesExecute the daily production schedule in the packing area to meet customer orders.Ensure timely and accurate packaging of product to maintain processing standards.Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activities.Take corrective action based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findings.Participate in investigating issues, finding root causes, and developing solutions for issues in the packing area.Take necessary actions to resolve food safety and quality deficiencies.Maintain safe working conditions and preserve the integrity of the environmental health and safety system.Participate in mandatory training program requirements.Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsFood manufacturing experience desired.Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership.Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality.Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change.Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitask.Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with little supervision.Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business need.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of production procedures preferred.1+ years of production experience in food manufacturing desired.Machine operator experience desired.Basic HMI experience desired.1 year minimum working in a kitchen cleaning or 1 year working in a food plant as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machines.Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps.Basic knowledge of top down washing sequence for proper food safety.Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage.Basic knowledge of lockout/tagout programs.Ability to learn how to clean all plant lines.Ability to prioritize work.Ability to problem-solve.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to complete assigned tasks.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The company specializes in cookies and bars and is located in River Falls, WI. Employees will be expected to meet certain physical requirements such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The work environment is FDA regulated, climate-controlled, and comfortable year-round. The environment is loud due to machinery, and employees must wear hair nets, beard nets, and will likely get dirty with flour or dough daily. The production floor is large, requiring frequent walking. Closed-ended shoes, pants, and no loose clothing are mandatory. Jobs primarily involve standing for 90% of the day, with packaging roles occasionally involving sitting. Everyone works on the production floor. Note: shorts, piercings, nail polish, eye lashes, colognes or perfumes are not permitted on the production floor.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $13.00 - $18.00/hr.
