Job Title: General Production WorkerJob Description

Join an industry-leading manufacturer of automotive hoses and parts at our full-cycle manufacturing plant. We produce PTFE tubes and stainless steel braided hoses from raw materials, providing high-quality parts for automotive, commercial, and industrial applications.

ResponsibilitiesPerform paste extrusion by making tubing out of Teflon powder, mixing and blending materials, and managing petroleum lube to create preform billets.Operate equipment using two monitors for control and data entry, and manage the production process from cold storage to the warm room.Handle billets by loading them onto conveyors, using different dies for product lines, and ensuring accurate tube dimensions.Conduct winding and braiding operations, attaching spools to machines, setting wire tension, and performing periodic quality checks.Process hoses by attaching them to machines, running them through wash tanks, and performing weekly cleaning of machines and oil filtration systems.Manage twister operations by creating components for braiding and winding, and use industrial crimpers and swedgers for fittings.Execute melt extrusion by processing large hoses, applying silicone jackets, and performing quality checks.Engage in post-sinter operations, strengthening tubing for aerospace applications and preparing hoses for specific product lines.Conduct pressure testing by wrapping tubes with multiple layers of metal for higher impact applications.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of machine operation experience.Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanics.Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.Stable work history with no more than three jobs in one year.Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical and math aptitude for entry-level candidates.Desire to work in manufacturing.Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a large production facility with around 110 permanent employees across three shifts. Dress in jeans and t-shirts initially, with uniforms provided once permanent. Shift schedules include Monday-Friday and Sunday-Thursday options, with potential training on the first shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
