**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment, where you will be responsible for the conversion of micro-prism films. Whether you are an entry-level Conversion Technician or an experienced Films Technician, your role will involve managing material flow, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality. **Responsibilities** + Convert micro-prism films by managing material flow to and from machines. + Load and unload film from machines. + Slit material to specified widths and lengths, and set up and perform splices. + Adhere to all required ISO documentation. + Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure product conformance. + Conduct quick quality checks and maintain records of pressure and ranges. + Process work orders in ERP systems. + Retrieve necessary chemicals and materials for the production process. + Enter maintenance requests in the Computer Maintenance Management System. + Maintain documentation of all required machine reports. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude and inclination. + Minimum of 6 months experience in an industrial environment. + Experience in assembly or machine operation is preferred. + Open to candidates with trade school experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inspection. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values safety and employee growth. All positions require initial training on the first shift. The facility provides a gym accessible to all employees. PPE such as steel or composite-toed shoes and safety glasses are required, with hearing protection necessary in the casting area. Candidates work 37.5 hours per week and are paid for 40, including their lunch break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, CT. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
