We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team in South West Michigan, working in the fiberglass manufacturing sector on either 1st or 2nd shift. This role involves engaging in various tasks along the production line, including packing, lifting, and handling fiberglass materials. Safety is a priority, and candidates must be able to fit a respirator if working in the glass room. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is a daily requirement.
ResponsibilitiesPack and unpack materials in the Shipping/Receiving Area.Move materials using rolling carts or pallet jacks.Consistently lift 50 pounds.Load materials into the vacuum forming machine.Utilize grinders and similar equipment for part finishing.Conduct visual inspections for physical defects on products.Place materials into fixtures for robot operations.Monitor machine controllers for malfunctions.Clean parts and tools as needed.Perform slight repairs to fiberglass machines, such as scraping excess material off nozzles.Essential SkillsAbility to work overtime.Capable of regularly lifting 50 pounds throughout a 10-hour shift.Proficiency in using basic hand tools.Ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach to handle parts.Knowledge of manufacturing and machine operating.Previous experience in a plastic molding environment.Competence in reading a tape measure.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, general labor, packaging, machine operation, and vacuum forming.Why Work Here?Enjoy quarterly bonuses, a family-oriented work environment, and a clean production floor.
