We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. This role is essential to meeting the increased demand for parts from our main customers. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of press equipment and maintaining quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesOperate press equipment safely and efficiently.Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job.Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles.Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs.Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions.Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues.Essential Skills1+ years of manufacturing experience.Experience in machine operation, production, assembly, and quality control.Ability to lift 30-40 lbs consistently and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting throughout the shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, general production, and packaging.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a plastic injection automotive plant that is relatively clean for an automotive facility. The environment is non-temp controlled and can be loud. Available shifts include: 1st Shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday - Friday), 2nd Shift (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, Monday - Friday), and 3rd Shift (10:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Sunday - Thursday). Please note that mandatory 7-day workweeks are currently in effect, with all hours over 40 paid at time and a half, though no double time is offered on Sundays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
