General Production Worker - Direct Placement Opportunity!!

Job Description

I am seeking qualified candidate to join our client's dynamic team as a General Production Worker in their production department. You will be responsible for supporting production lines by preparing materials and handling scrap materials. This role involves building steel reels, using hand and power tools, and ensuring efficient operations in a busy and active environment.

Responsibilities

Build steel reels for production lines using bolts, hand, and power tools.Prepare and make reels, feed production lines, and handle scrap materials for disposal or recycling.Operate machinery such as extrusion and regrind machines, and perform screen, filter, and temperature adjustments.Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel and meets quality standards.Perform quality inspections, cut conduit to specifications, and check packaging and labeling.Handle heavy lifting of industrial pipes, ensuring a safe team lift onto carts.Maintain a clean working environment through light housekeeping duties.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial manufacturing (excluding warehouse experience).Familiarity with machine operation and experience in extrusion operations.Ability to work actively on feet throughout the day in a physical job.Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as measuring tape and impact guns.Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new skills.Consistent work history and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in construction or automotive industries is beneficial.Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled, dusty industrial facility.Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting of 30-40 lb pipes.Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $43680.00/yr.
