**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. The position involves working in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality printing ink. We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. **Responsibilities** + Weigh batches as planned and assigned, following the directions on the batch ticket. + Select the appropriate mixing tub for each batch and ensure it is clean. + Check raw material inventories to ensure all ingredients are available before starting to weigh the batch. + Use proper scales for weighing raw materials and document all figures on the batch tickets. + Sign batch tickets, mark tubs with the full formula number, and move finished batches to the proper area. + Mix batches of ink as directed, deliver them to staging areas, and maintain mixers, including lubrication. + Understand the operation of pumps and properly filter ink using necessary bags and cartridges. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + 6 months of production experience with ink or paints. + Experience with batch mixing, preferably in food production, chemical manufacturing, or similar environments. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
