You will have the opportunity to work in various parts of the facility, gaining comprehensive experience in every step of our production process.
ResponsibilitiesSupport various stages of the vegetable tanning process, ensuring high-quality leather production.Assist operators of production machinery and equipment by maintaining available stocks of materials safely and efficiently.Inspect leather products for defects and ensure they meet company standards.Load and unload raw materials and finished products.Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.Essential SkillsPrevious production/manufacturing experience.Comfortable with physically demanding work and standing for the entirety of the shift.Strong reliability in previous roles.Steel-toed shoes are required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor, production, or manufacturing.Flexibility and reliability.Potential to be trained on forklift operation after demonstrating proficiency in other areas.Why Work Here?Our company offers flexibility when it comes to time off. Although there is no personal time off, the facility closes for 2-3 weeks every summer around July 4th, during which employees are paid as a form of bulk PTO. Additionally, there is flexibility to take off other days throughout the year.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes exposure to strong smells, both chemical and leather-like, and can be loud or dirty at times. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be cooler in winter and warmer in summer. Protective gear, such as hooded coats, goggles, and gloves, is provided, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
