**Job Description**
You will be trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. This role requires working with small parts and necessitates excellent hand-eye dexterity. You will be utilizing hand tools to build different component parts and gathering materials needed. The position involves placing components onto PC boards and requires experience with small precision hand tools. You will work at your own station, alternating between standing and sitting throughout the day, with a keen attention to detail.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform electronic assembly of switches.
+ Work with small parts requiring good hand-eye dexterity.
+ Use hand tools to build component parts.
+ Gather materials needed for assembly tasks.
+ Place components onto PC boards.
+ Stand or sit throughout the day while maintaining attention to detail.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as an electronic assembler.
+ Proficiency with soldering.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Solder certification is a plus but not required.
+ Experience with pick and place machinery can result in pay adjustments.

**Work Environment**
The role operates within a manufacturing environment featuring long rows with five work stations each. The culture is laid back, with an emphasis on self-motivation and meeting expectations. The workday can include 3-4 hours of overtime, amounting to 50-60 hours per week. Temperature checks and health screenings are conducted at the start and end of shifts. Work shifts include first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility to start at 5:30 AM, and second shift from 3:45 PM to 12:15 AM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
