**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination as you will be dealing with small parts and using hand tools to build component parts. **Responsibilities** + Perform electronic assembly of switches. + Handle small parts with good hand-eye dexterity. + Use hand tools to build various component parts. + Gather materials needed for assembly. + Place components onto PC boards with precision. + Work at your own station, standing on your feet throughout the day. + Sit at times while maintaining attention to detail. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electronic assembly and small precision hand tools. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Solder certification is a plus but not mandatory. + Experience with pick and place machinery is advantageous and may affect pay rate. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a laid-back work culture that focuses on results without undue pressure. The shifts available are 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a requirement to start as early as 5:30 am, and 2nd shift from 3:45 pm to 12:15 am. Anticipate working 50-60 hours a week with 3-4 hours of overtime daily. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Cook, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
