General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker 20 - 21.25/hr.** **Job Description** Begin your career as a General Production Worker by engaging in end-of-line tasks while learning the operations of our machinery. The ultimate goal is to progress to a line operator position. You will assist in removing plastic tubing from machines and help with loading and unloading, ensuring that the line operation continues smoothly. **Responsibilities** + Perform end-of-line work and learn machine operations. + Remove plastic tubing from machines and assist in loading/unloading. + Maintain the ongoing motion of line operations. + Push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs unassisted. + Conduct quality checks using visual inspection and tools. + Monitor machine operations and identify any issues. + Work both indoors and outdoors, including loading trucks outside. + Undergo training for forklift usage once employed directly. **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Mechanical inclination demonstrated through experience or education. + Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs unassisted. + Willingness to learn forklift operations in the future. + Capability to work indoors and outdoors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in machine operation and general production. + Comfortable with assembly, packaging, and using hand tools. + Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure. + Experience in loading, production, and general labor. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees and promotes from within, evidenced by many employees with over 25 years of service. A $1 shift premium is also provided for off-shift work. **Work Environment** Work at the largest plant in the corporation, alongside over 130 employees across four shifts (A, B, C, D). The environment is both indoor and outdoor and may be dirty, cold, or wet. Safety gear, including bump caps, hearing, and eye protection, is provided by the company. Steel-toed boots are required, and you will work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Training boot camps occur every other week, initially on the first shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Findlay, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.25/hr.
