**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent individuals to operate industrial sewing machines for the manufacture of medical device parts. This role involves specialized training and mentorship to ensure proficiency in production processes. **Responsibilities** + Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts. + Participate in a week-long training class followed by hands-on mentorship. + Set up sewing machines with the correct thread. + Increase production count to the expected output level within 13 weeks. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Sit for extended periods to operate sewing machines. + Seek assistance or call maintenance if issues arise with sewing machines. + Ensure products meet quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail. + Experience or ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. + Ability to hit production goals. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with industrial sewing. + Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Familiarity with medical device manufacturing. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with a strong company culture that promotes from within. The production floor comprises 75% industrial sewing machines and operates in a clean GMP environment. Although not climate-controlled, fans are provided to mitigate summer heat. The workforce is diverse, and candidates proficient with translation technology can thrive. Shifts include 1st (6am - 2:30 pm) with optional early hours and Saturdays, and 2nd (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) with extended hours and optional Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geneva, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
