**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent and proactive General Production Workers to join our team in the Offline and Extrusion departments. This role involves supporting production lines by preparing materials, building steel reels, and ensuring that the final product is wrapped neatly around the reels. This is a physically demanding position requiring the use of hand and power tools, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Support production lines by preparing and making reels. + Use hand and power tools to build steel reels for the lines. + Feed lines and dispose of or recycle all scrap materials. + Start training in reel building and putting reels together. + Operate machinery such as grinders and extrusion machines. + Perform quality inspection of parts and ensure products meet specifications. + Cut conduit to product specifications and check packaging and labeling. + Perform heavy lifting of industrial pipes and ensure neat wrapping of products around reels. + Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean workspace. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn. + Experience in machine operation and use of hand and power tools. + Ability to perform quality inspections and use standard measuring devices. + Minimum of 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience. + Comfortable working in a loud, non-climate controlled manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred experience in machine operation or as a machine operator. + Experience in construction or automotive backgrounds can be advantageous. + Ability to work as part of a team and be cross-trainable. + Comfort with using tools and physically demanding work. **Why Work Here?** This position offers competitive benefits, including 80% coverage of premium insurance, 100% paid life insurance, and annual wage increases. Shifts are based on a 2-2-3 schedule, offering both day and night shifts. The schedule alternates between 48-hour and 36-hour weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Salt Lake City, UT. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $43680.00/yr.
