**General Production Worker** **Shift** 1st: 6:00a - 2:30p **Pay** $15 **Location** La Grange / McCook **Job Description** This role involves being trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. The position requires dealing with small parts, necessitating excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity. **Responsibilities** + Utilize hand tools to build different component parts. + Gather necessary materials for assembly. + Place components onto PC boards, requiring experience with small and precision hand tools. + Work independently at your station, standing and sitting throughout the day while maintaining attention to detail. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with electronic assembly. + Experience using hand tools and power tools. + Ability to work with small parts and maintain precision. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Soldering certification is advantageous but not mandatory. + Experience with pick and place operations can lead to an adjusted pay rate. **Why Work Here?** The company offers the potential for permanent employment, with a history of transitioning temporary workers to permanent roles within 6-7 months. The role is on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of starting at 5:30 AM. Employees can expect 3-4 hours of overtime daily, totaling 50-60 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Cook, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
