Operate and monitor production processes including mixing, extrusion, polishing, and finishing. Responsibilities include measuring and loading ingredients (up to 50 lbs.), running equipment, transferring batches, and ensuring product quality meets specifications.
ResponsibilitiesRead and follow manufacturing order instructions for mixing, including gathering, measuring, weighing, and documenting the amount of ingredients needed.Load required ingredients into a mixer, blend based on time specifications, and unload the mixer to transfer mixed batches to the next process.Process mixing batches through extrusion equipment to make the finished product, ensuring it matches customer specifications.Manage and transfer finished products from extrusion and drying processes, applying the finishing touch using the panning process.Transfer finished products from extrusion processes using drums, carts, or trays to the next process.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of recent manufacturing experience in production.Experience with mixing, extrusion, batching, polishing, and finishing preferred (training provided if needed).Ability to use hand tools such as RF scanners, hand trucks, and sifting screeners.Ability to lift/move up to 56 lbs. with or without accommodation.Strong English and math skills; able to read/write and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, manuals, and shipping documents.Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays; reliable, flexible, and a team player.Additional Skills & QualificationsHands-on training provided.Promotion opportunities from within.Why Work Here?Enjoy a smaller company feel with opportunities for advancement.
