6am-2:30pm - $16.50-17/hr

3pm-11:30pm - $17.50-18/hr

Monday - Friday with optional overtime and weekly pay!

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you'll be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts or packing up the finished product and making sure the quality is exceptional. For the sewing position, you'll start with a week-long training class on industrial sewing machines, followed by hands-on experience on the production floor with a mentor.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts.Participate in a week-long training class on industrial sewing machines.Set up sewing machines with the correct thread.Cut excess threads off of the finished products.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Complete quality checks on finished products.

Essential Skills

Attention to detail.Ability to meet production goals.Experience or ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with GMP and medical device production is a plus.No acrylic/permanent nails.No jewelry, except wedding bands without stones.Permanent piercings must be covered by a mask.No lotions or creams on the production floor.Use of a clear plastic bottle with a lock (approved or available for purchase).

Work Environment

The company operates as a contract manufacturing medical device firm, experiencing significant growth with a diverse workforce. While not climate-controlled, fans are provided at each station to combat summer heat. The environment supports employees who may not be fluent in English, offering assistance through translation technology. Flexible shifts are available: 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary early starts and Saturday hours available; 2nd Shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with similar voluntary options.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
