General Production Worker

This is an entry-level position in a company that manufactures lenses for eyeglasses. The role primarily involves monitoring automated processes, ensuring continuous product flow, and maintaining quality standards. Candidates must be able to work on their feet for 8 hours per day, read work instructions, and work independently.

Responsibilities

Read work instructions on orders for the day.Monitor automated lines to ensure continuous product flow.Perform visual quality inspections to look for cracks and scratches.Prepare products by applying and removing tape on the glass.Scan bar codes to ensure proper items are in the correct bin order.Check the shape of lenses to ensure they are prepared for accurate cutting.Clean lenses in the finishing department.

Work Environment

This position offers contract-to-hire opportunities with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
