Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to operate industrial sewing machines in the manufacturing of medical device parts. You will receive comprehensive training in a week-long class followed by mentorship on the production floor to ensure you understand the production process. Your role will involve setting up sewing machines with the correct thread, increasing production output to expected levels, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting to operate sewing machines and the ability to identify and report machine issues promptly.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean GMP space with 75% industrial sewing machines. Although not climate controlled, fans are available to help with cooling in hotter months. The company is diverse, with over 800 employees and multiple languages spoken. Shifts include 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with options for an earlier start and voluntary Saturday hours, and 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, also with extended hours and voluntary Saturday work available.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
