JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Line Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used in the production of high-quality plastic films. You will ensure the efficient operation of the production line, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•\tEnsure the Roll quality is to specification, layer counts are accurate, and Quality technicians have approved.
•\tStamp core legibly, and arrows are facing the correct direction on the spindle shaft.
•\tManually lift rolls from spindles, place them on scale for weighing and stack finished rolls.
•\tRecording of production weights, layer counts, and production problems on the production report.
•\tEnsure that empty gaylord skids are available for change when full gaylords are ready.
•\tGeneral housekeeping and maintenance of your production area.
•\tMonitor production line operation and report interruptions immediately with public address system.
•\tHandle all production rolls with care to not damage the edges or face.
•\tAbide by the Kosher procedures in place.
•\t Other responsibilities as assigned.
ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES:
•\tList the essential job duties that are specific to the position. Operate machines according to production specifics.
•\tOperate machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic films, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
•\tMonitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, to maintain product quality.
•\tMaintain proper stock levels of materials and notify the supervisor when inventory is low.
•\tContinuously monitor film quality during production, inspecting for visual defects.
•\tReport any recurring mechanical problems with the machines.
•\tOther responsibilities as assigned.

Monday-Wednesday: 7:00am-7:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am-1:00pm
Shift B:
Monday-Wednesday: 7:00pm-7:00am
Every other Thursday: 7:00pm-7:00am
Shift C:
Sunday: 7:00am-7:00pm
Thursday: 1:00pm-7:00pm
Friday-Saturday: 7:00am-7:00pm
Shift D:
Sunday: 7:00pm-7:00am
Every other Thursday: 7:00pm-7:00am
Friday-Saturday: 7:00pm-7:00am
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
