General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for handling and processing products on the production line. This role involves managing bags of product ranging from 1-50 lbs and occasionally handling bags up to 100 lbs. Your tasks include reading ingredients, counting bags on pallets, placing scoops and lids on containers, stacking and sealing products, and ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities + Read ingredients and count bags on pallets. + Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids. + Stack and seal bags or cans of products from production lines. + Bag products from production lines. + Dump bags of product into the appropriate equipment. Essential Skills + Experience in general production and handling. + Ability to lift and manage bags weighing up to 100 lbs. + Familiarity with quality control, assembly, and packaging. + Competence in machine operation and using hand and power tools. + Experience in production line operations and picking. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in loading and packing. + Ability to work across different shifts as required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a food production facility where some areas may have floating food particles. Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Available shifts are 1st Shift (7am - 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $22.41/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
