Responsibilities
Operate forklift or overhead crane to move materials.Build custom pallets for packaging and shipping.Load and unload trucks at receiving docks.Remove steel from racks and place on machines using overhead suction cups or cranes.Cut material and prepare it for shipping.Use a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th of an inch.Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs consistently.Essential Skills
Manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to use a tape measure with precision.Physical capability to lift and move 75 lbs consistently.Proficient in converting fractions and decimals.Experience in steel industry preferred.Forklift and overhead crane operation experience.Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Join a mid-size steel company focused on heat and corrosion-resistant metals at our largest and well-maintained site. The facility is brand new, clean, spacious, and safety-oriented. We operate across three shifts: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a, with current openings on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Training occurs on the first shift and may last from two weeks to two months, depending on your progress. PPE such as hard hats, steel toe shoes, and arm guards is required, with a relaxed dress code allowing jeans and t-shirts until uniforms are provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
