**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will assist with various general labor tasks in the manufacturing of counterweights and steel products. Your role will involve unloading products off machines and preparing them for shipment, as well as assisting with material handling as required. You will be expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Essential Skills + Experience in machine operation, construction, assembly, and use of measurement tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must be open to working overtime, at least 5 hours per week. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift. + Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Work Environment Work in a heavy steel manufacturing environment located in Youngstown. The facility is dirty and not well-lit, with a mix of new and old equipment. Shifts are available from 7 AM - 3:30 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, and 10:30 PM - 7 AM. The workforce comprises over 50 full-time workers, with roughly 120 people in production at any given time, including both full-time and temporary staff. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00/hr.
