We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for palletizing and shrink-wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving products and materials using a manual pallet jack. You will also be responsible for weighing products before they are transferred to the warehouse and recording digital weights on a small scale. The role involves moving filled bags that can weigh up to 50 pounds, with any weights exceeding this requiring teamwork as per company policy. Additionally, you will be required to push and pull bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 pounds, with a minimum of eight bowls moved per shift. This is a physically demanding position.

Essential SkillsExperience in a general labor, construction, manufacturing, or similar environment within the last 5 years.One year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, verified through past experience and references.Willingness and ability to drive a forklift.Ability to lift 50 pounds, verified through past experience and references.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with tools such as tape measures, cleaning equipment, and hand tools.Familiarity with machine operation, sorting, and packaging.High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Our work environment values safety and good manufacturing practices, with a dress code that includes steel-toed boots, hair nets, eye protection, jeans, shirts, bump caps, and lab coats. The facility prohibits smoking, tobacco products, perfumes, colognes, jewelry, and piercings. Clothing must be free of rips, tears, holes, or embellishments. The temperature can reach up to 90 degrees in the summer, while winter conditions remain comfortable. Operating hours are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays. Employees must arrive 15 minutes before their shift for a paid temperature screening.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.00/hr.
