**Job Title: Production Worker** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. Initially starting as a temporary position, this role involves performing labor-intensive tasks such as shoveling debris, cleaning molds, and moving materials. You will play an essential role in ensuring that our production operations run smoothly. Responsibilities + Assist with production by performing general labor tasks and providing support in various areas of the plant. + Ensure that all produced and packaged products meet or exceed company quality standards. + Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations. + Inspect finished products for physical defects and replace any defective items with acceptable products. + Ensure accurate identification and tagging of packaged products, following established standards. + Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, as well as other plant areas as directed by supervisor. + Participate in end-of-shift and end-of-day clean-up procedures. + Adhere to all plant safety protocols and company policies. + Undertake additional tasks and special projects as required by the company. Essential Skills + Experience in an industrial setting such as manufacturing, landscaping, construction, or warehouse work. + Ability to read, write, and understand English. + Capability to stand for a 12-hour shift. + Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. + Forklift certification. + Machine operation and troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Forklift experience is a big plus. + Experience in paver manufacturing is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes a day shift from 6 am to 6 pm, with the ideal candidate being comfortable covering night shifts when needed from 6 pm to 6 am, which offers a 10% shift differential. The environment is loud, indoor-outdoor, and can get hot in summer and cold in winter. It can be dusty at times, and cleaning the machines may get dirty, especially when working with concrete. Candidates should be comfortable working in such conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
