**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will be an integral part of the production line, contributing to the ramp-up of new projects. Your primary tasks will include assembling materials, operating machinery, and conducting quality inspections. You'll ensure that parts are assembled correctly, inspected for defects, and packaged for shipment. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. Responsibilities + Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line. + Inspect parts for quality assurance before packaging. + Box and prepare items for shipment. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. + Work collaboratively within a 6-person team to oversee operations. Essential Skills + 6 months of recent experience in manufacturing roles such as production worker, operator, assembler, or warehouse position. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, such as the car hood made of plastic and foam. + Visual inspection experience to identify defects like scratches, paint marks, or dents. + Demonstrated job stability with 8 months or longer tenure at past three jobs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical skills are a plus. + Experience with machine operation is beneficial. Why Work Here? The dress code requires work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face protection. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.85 - $16.85/hr.
