Job Description
Join our team in manufacturing high-quality garage doors. Our busy season aligns with the construction season, typically in the summer. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with a 90-day contract-to-hire arrangement.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret orders and tape measures accurately.Operate hand and power tools proficiently.Assemble sections of garage doors, including adding bottom seals, end caps, and panels.Label panels and work collaboratively within a team.Pack and hand load trucks, and manage incoming shipments without the use of forklifts.Verify and receipt all shipments, replenishing and transferring materials to departments.Maintain a clean work area and store tools properly.Manage materials, including putting away inventory, replenishing products, and tracking materials using Excel.Perform assembly work, such as installing windows and cutting panels with routers.Essential Skills
Ability to read a tape measure.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction.Physical ability to bend, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 100 lbs with team assistance.Ability to read orders and perform assembly tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.1-3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with shifts available from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm. Be prepared for occasional early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts if needed. Overtime is available, typically on a volunteer basis. Dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a work shirt, with cut-resistant sleeves provided. Enjoy a structured training program on your designated shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.15/hr.
