Currently hiring General Production Workers in the Newtown, PA area for this manufacturing company offering FULL TIME HOURS! We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team and operate molding presses to produce rubber or metal and rubber bonded parts. The ideal candidate will be capable of setting up and maintaining proper running procedures based on verbal instructions and process sheets, and assist in mold setups as needed. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment and being able to follow specific instructions will be required for this position. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain molding presses and follow proper running procedures.Locate materials and inserts, following proper procedures such as signing out preform trays.Monitor presses for correct time, temperature, and pressures and become knowledgeable about critical areas of all job parts.Complete time sheets, SPC Charts, and process sheets legibly and accurately.Notify a trainer or supervisor of any problems, faulty equipment, defective materials, or unusual conditions.Use pry bars, measuring gauges, and basic hand tools; lift up to approximately 40 pounds.Carry molded parts to the designated staging area for subsequent operations.Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.Adhere to prescribed safety rules and company regulations.Perform other duties as required and/or directed.Essential Skills
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.1+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, with preference for extrusion machine experience.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
