**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging fibers into buffering tubs using a buffering machine, operating extrusion machines, and inputting data into computers. You will also be tasked with loading fiber reels, managing unwinds and rewinds, and performing minor troubleshooting of extrusion machines. The position requires the ability to push and pull up to 10 pounds repetitively and involves various machine operating duties. Responsibilities + Package fibers into buffering tubs using a buffering machine. + Operate extrusion machines efficiently. + Input data into the computer accurately. + Load fiber reels and manage unwinds and rewinds. + Perform minor troubleshooting on extrusion machines. + Engage in machine operating activities. Essential Skills + 3 years of true manufacturing experience. + 3 years of machine operating experience. + Experience in transforming raw materials into finished products, beyond simple button-pushing tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma required. + Experience with hand tools, tape measures, buffering machines, and extrusion machines. + Proficiency in general production, inspection, and troubleshooting. Work Environment This role involves night shift positions from 7pm to 7am. The first week will be on the day shift for training, with a transition to the night shift schedule in the following week. Work involves handling machinery and requires a collaborative and safety-focused approach. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lugoff, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
