**Job Title: Masker** Job Description The Masker plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by preparing molds and components for finishing operations. This position involves applying masking materials to protect designated areas from coatings, stains, or other surface treatments. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities + Apply masking materials such as tape, film, and plugs to molds, forms, or finished products according to specifications. + Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or diagrams to determine masking requirements. + Inspect surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and coverage of masking materials. + Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. + Report any defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues to supervisors. Essential Skills + Ability to lift 50+ pounds. + Ability to stand for 10 hours a day. + Problem-solving skills. + Strict adherence to safety procedures. + Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. + Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed. + Steel-toed boots are required. Work Environment The work environment includes a large facility with minimal machinery, The facility includes two buildings, which are not climate-controlled, making it hot in summer and cold in winter. Safety is a top priority. The dress code includes jeans and either a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt, with no loose clothing. PPE is provided, including, hard hats, and hearing and eye protection. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
